New version of the Awesome List is online!
Now with

  • Instant Search & Filtering: Find exactly what you need in seconds. Filter by your specific machine (Artisan, J1, SM2.0, Ray, etc.), toolhead type, material cost, or difficulty level!

  • Rich Resource Cards: Every resource now has its own detailed card with direct links, author credits, and specific tags, clean and easy to read.

  • Shareable Views: Dialed in the perfect filter combination? Click “Share Current View” to grab a custom URL that instantly loads your specific search parameters for whoever you send it to.

  • Favorites: Save the mods and tools you love to a personal favorites list directly in your browser.

  • Automated Submissions: I’ve built an automated issue-to-PR pipeline. Have a cool mod or guide to share? Use the “Submit a New Item” button, fill out the form, and our GitHub bots will automatically format the YAML and add it to the database for review.

I’m excited to announce that we’ve just added full multilingual support to the Awesome Snapmaker List!

You can now browse the list and submit new resources—tools, guides, mods, and more—directly in your preferred language. My hope is that the international Snapmaker community can start utilizing the Awesome List concept as a powerful discovery tool and a shared treasure chest of collective knowledge. Expanding this beyond just English has been one of the most requested features over the years of this project’s existence!

To make this happen quickly, the initial translations (for languages like German, Spanish, French, Italian, and more) were generated using an AI (LLM). Because of this, I am looking for community volunteers to help proofread and verify the translated text to ensure it sounds natural.

Since the site interface is lightweight, it only takes a human about 20 to 40 minutes in total to verify 100% of the UI strings for a given language.

If you speak a second language and want to help polish the site for your local community, you can join the crowdsourced translation project on Codeberg: Merge status This shows the old merge base for the graph.
