I am interested in this side door.
Can you give a brief summary what has to.b be changed on the original enclosure?
Is there any cutting or drilling in the glass or frames necessary?
I just need some bolts and screws and have to print that stl to get it assembled?
Thanks for asking, yes you will need to drill holes to mount the plastic door (original sides) to the hinges and to mount the handles, it is not hard and a drill guide is provided for the handles and you use the assembled hinges for drilling the hinge mounting holes
Thank you. I will give that a try. Want to use the artisan the next years for lasering and CNC and have the big problem of cleaning the Maschine from the top. Especially when I have to print big stuff after.
This was exactly my reason for doing this, I can’t even imagine cleaning it from the end, I did both sides of mine and it sits on a cart that allows me access from all sides
