On the intro video for the 40W laser, it shows laser engraving colors on 304 Stainless steel. I had been looking for a guide and was unable to find anything. I started off by trying to mimic the settings that are shown in the video, but Luban wouldn’t let me input an interval smaller than 0.050mm (the video was as small as 0.010 mm). So I ordered some 304 Stainless and decided to try for myself. The sheet that I used is only 1mm thick, but I don’t expect that to have much of an impact on the outcome. I also prepped the sheet, by cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol and allowing it to air dry. All settings are as depicted on the picture and I did not use continuous output nor half diode settings. Overall I’m happy with the results, though the stainless did warp from the heat. I also cleaned the sheet again after the engraving was done. Please let me know if anyone sees different results or has any suggestions for additional colors.

Hello, it would be great if you share more information about the color engravedment. I got my ray before some days and i did not have so much experiences
I’m not sure I saved the file because the plan was to just do this once. I also had some trouble with the more powerful settings and would prefer not to be responsible for any damage that may be incurred using my file (notice it didn’t burn at 48.9%).
