Nice job!
Did you masked the acrylic sheet before laser engraving? Which settings did you use?

Hi all and sorry for the late response.
- I mask the acrylic with liquid chalk marker or spray. Spray is better because the marker creates ālinesā that might be visible on the engraved pattern/photo, especially if it contains large engraved areas.
- I use dot fill engraving settings for basewood but I change the power to 35%
- For better clarity I make 2 passes, by just copying the initial toolpath in order to have the exact same coordinates.

This was done with 1600MW laser .spray on chalk paint, light yellow all i could get.
3mm acrylic 0.2 dot fill 6 dwell time. 75% power. 1 pass.
Will try one at 100% and see.

How you remove the Chalk after the Laserprozess?
Just wash it out under tap water. The nature of chalk paint is to dissolve under water.
