Curious if I should use some sort of spray to get a burn reaction or not. I do slate all the time and know how it kinda “crystallizes” in a grayish-yellow.
Sandstone coasters I got have a full size cork backing so no room to attempt a test run or two on the bottom like I could if they just had cork or foam ‘feet’. The sandstone itself is more of a mixed buff/tans/yellows color. Would like to go for dark lines.
Also concerned that with the porosity something like a Moly spray would be a royal **** to clean off of the non-lasered zones.
