For any consumers:

This is a tactic companies use to prevent warranty claims, knowing full well that no one is going to sue over a $500 part of printer. Do not accept this from any company, and if they don’t listen to you, file a complaint with the FTC. The FTC can, has, and absolutely will sue on behalf of consumers (If the company refuses to comply with their notification of the violation).

This is not directed at snap maker, I’m sure they have no ill intent here, but just in general: Know your rights, and exercise them. A right that isn’t exercised, is a right you don’t have.
