I am fairly new to using SM350. I rarely post. This statement could be indicative to the lack of patience, and trial and error that is required when entering the world of engraving, cutting, and printing via cad cam. I suppose that no matter what machine one buys, if you look long enough, you will find one “better”. Consider the price point. Can you buy a 3D printer, laser machine, and router, individually for less $ than the SM? Will each do an adequate job? Will they take up more or less space available to the user? Can you be promised to continually upgrade your SM as you choose? So, Sagi2313, please take a deep breath, remain calm, learn as much as is possible re: Luban and each feature of your SM while at the same time looking for a buyer. Stuff learned will assist you when you do buy your new machine.
Hi,
I would like to say that I am satisfied with the Snapmaker. I bought it 15 months ago and yes there are some problems, but I have been satisfied with it A LOT (haven’t tried CNC still tho ). Currently I am implementing a lot of upgrades, but they weren’t needed before for the normal usage. Yes, now when I dig into calibration, different materials (ABS, PC, Nylon) I am doing a lot of stuff to make the Snapmaker better, but it wasn’t necessary at all.
And communication with support was flawless, I followed FAQ → didn’t help → asked them → answered some questions → got a new laser head. I even didn’t get an email that it was sent before I got it, haha.
I am also. I’m turning out really nice bits using PETG. Search my other posts. These kinds of reviews are really not useful.
I was stunned that this machine worked perfectly on my first try. I was a machinist and CAM software engineer in a previous life though. Usually when I assemble import products with over 100 pieces I have terrible luck. I just put tha A350 with enclosure together on Saturday. Hope you get it sorted.
I would also like to have my say here.
“The machine can only work as well as the one who sits in front of the machine and operates it.”
This has nothing to do with the cost or the support!
The fact is that I paid a lot of money for the complete A350T machine, including all the accessories that are available. But for that I also get a 3 in 1 machine that works in all 3 categories absolutely flawless.
But I also have experience in 3D printing in CNC processing and in laser technology. Since I already have some 3D printers a CNC mill and also a Neje laser here.
And there is the problem with some people that you think if I pay so much then the machine “MUST” work perfectly, it does but you also have to know a little bit and can not expect perfect results if you have no reason or any knowledge.
And that begins with the construction, if I do not work cleanly and 100% accurate, the result can not be 100%.
And if you have now times no Kenntnise, so one is really helped here in the forum from every side, because there are very many forum members who make the effort and want to help people me included, but you must also have the peace and patience to use the learned knowledge then also correctly.
In my eyes, the machine is the absolute madness it really works absolutely perfect and flawless, but have just also in all 3 categories the knowledge to operate the machine properly.
