Congratulations on the Snapmaker U1 highest pledge amount.
I am also the October backer and 868th to register for the pledge.
I am looking forward to it.

Now, looking at the number of backers per country on the Kickstarter, I see that the United States has 5,220 backers!

With President Trump’s wonderful comments about import tariffs, I wonder if the U1 will ever make it to the hands of our American backers…

In Japan, some companies have stopped accepting packages bound for the US.
It looks like they stopped accepting them because there is an undetermined element in the tariffs for the US.
There are still a few months to go before the delivery, so it is expected to be resolved… :frowning:

Australia has stopped accepting packages for the US for now as well.

I guess that Snapmaker delivers all printers to regional warehouses in US/EU/etc. Than, all printers will be delivered to us locally.

I believe that’s their plan for all major countries. The smaller ones are shipping directly from China.
