We’re looking for experienced U1 users to help us create more practical multi-material printing tutorials for the community. The Snapmaker U1 has opened up new possibilities for multi-material printing, driven by the experience and creativity of our community. This co-creation project focuses on:

- Different Flexible Material Combinations
We believe the most valuable knowledge comes from real printing experiences — the techniques you discovered, the challenges you solved, and the lessons learned through practice. Through this co-creation project, we hope to transform community expertise into structured tutorials that help more makers achieve better multi-material printing results.
Who We’re Looking For
- Users with hands-on experience with multi-material printing (especially TPU with PLA/ABS, or flexible materials of different hardness levels).
- Users who’ve run into issues, solved them, and learned from the process.
- Users who’re willing to share your insights to help others avoid the same pitfalls.
Two Participation Modes – You Choose

Q & A
Q1: How much time will this project take?
A: We fully respect your time. Providing a “topic framework” typically requires around 4–8 hours of focused thinking. Writing a complete article mainly depends on your experience and usually takes around 2–3 days. You are free to choose your preferred mode of participation and schedule.
Q2: How is the compensation calculated, and when will I be paid?
A: Providing a topic framework only (Mode A) earns $100–$150 USD. Writing a complete article (Mode B) is compensated per piece at $200–$400 USD, depending on content quality. Payment will be settled in the following month after your deliverables have passed review and been finalized.
Q3: I have great ideas, but I'm not confident in my writing or drawing skills. What should I do?
A: You can choose to provide a topic framework only (Mode A). If you’d like to write but are concerned about your skills, we can provide a basic writing guide. Additionally, our technical documentation team will polish all submitted articles to ensure the final quality.
Q4: Who owns the copyright to the content I submit?
A: You have the right to be credited as the author. Once your submission is accepted and compensation has been made, all ownership and intellectual property rights to your work will belong to Snapmaker. We will publish it on our official platforms with your name credited. Before you begin writing, we will send you a Cooperation Agreement for your confirmation.
Q5: What if my article gets rejected?
A: This is a collaborative process. Before diving into full writing, you are encouraged to send us your article outline for confirmation first. The review process is designed to help us polish the content together into something great. As long as the overall direction is right, we will focus on providing constructive suggestions rather than outright rejection.
