Is SM 2.0 able to 3D laser engrave (not cnc)

I’m wanting to do somerthing like this (laser engrave to a depth on mdf) but can’t find any videos.

I’ve got the 10W laser, and currently using Luban. Would I need another program to achieve this?

I am pretty sure this is not lasered to depth, its laser cut and glued to the backplate.

In case it needs to laser engrave to depth the whole material between would be burned down, this would be very risky about catching fire…

Yes i do depth engraving. I have been learning the process for a few weeks now.
the picture above from Trotec seems to be layers of wood glued together.

You do this settings 2 times, The first one the Line Direction Horizontal and the second time the line Direction Vertical.

Diode lasers are not great at depth engraving, they don’t have enough power. The 10W can do a little bit, but it still ends up burning more than fully vaporizing the wood. The trotec image you posted was done with a high power C02 laser, likely somewhere around 80-100W. Their SP series goes up to 400W, which simply vaporizes the wood instead of burning.

They have a support page for help doing exactly this:
