How do people store their unused work surfaces?

Hi there,

as I’m finally cleaning up my studio and want to store all SN boxes away. How is everyone doing with the different work beds? I printed one of those nice toolboxes for all the screws etc., but how do you store the currently unused beds away? Do you keep the original cardboard box around, do you just shove them into a drawer, any nicer solutions?

Had mine for 3 years now and still using the original card board box. Fits them perfectly. Holds an extra spoil board and print sheet.
Tucks perfectly into the shelf I have below mine.
Keeps them nice and clean and safe.
Considered other options but why mess with what works?
Same with toolheads.

I store them vertically inside the enclosure, with the additional heads on the left. Be very careful not to block the path of the print head and the table and you’ll be fine. I did keep the boxes as well for moving or longer storage.

As above, still have the original box. On the table I have the enclosure, the toolheads are on the left in the box, and underneath for the platforms. I’ve thought about more elegant solutions, but… meh. Requires effort. :upside_down_face:

I do way too much cnc to keep anything inside the enclosure - way too much dust.
The laser isn’t much better with soot.

In the end, I got a workshop drawer that works down to the millimeter (still have to check if the FDM bed fits)
