Home is always home. This is needed for reference, so the machine moves in the same coordinate system every time.
By selecting a file you can set the Origin of the coordinate system, the 0/0 of your job.
You could select the preferred origin method in Luban, like the L on the front left edge (Sorry can’t remember the correct wording).
