I’ve been using octoprint but I keep getting really weird layer shifts. I’ve got a camera and all, but the layer shifts happen randomly, and they do not occur when I used a wired connection to my PC or a USB stick. Do you guys have any idea what might be happening? I bought the latest raspberry pi B+ model as my older one is now being used to run scripts and that would interfere with octoprint. But this new raspberry pi ONLY has Octoprint on it and nothing else. Not even a GUI is installed.
Anybody else been experiencing the same issue?
Thanks,
Greg
Well, not sure if it’s the same issue but I was having a heck of a time trying to print the Classic Mac Apple Watch Dock from thingiverse with multiple layer shifts.
I thought it was octoprint too on my RPi3 but then I tried the file on SD card and same issue.
The only way I could get it to print is by separating the files and printing them separately as there is the classic mac shell and the insert that goes with it. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1216409
Seems I always run into problems when the file is just remotely close to the max build volume in any direction.
