I thoroughly tested U1. Apart from the included models, I also printed a bunch of miniatures for keychains from 3D scans. Scaled-down DeathRacer and RC Boats miniatures printed surprisingly well. Great printer for this kind of work. More test print examples here.

I also used the Snapmaker U1 for one of my more unusual large print tests: a scanned foot model. The original scan was made with the newly tested Revopoint POP 4, then printed on the U1 as part of a scan-to-print shoe-stretcher experiment. It was not the most practical way to stretch footwear, but it became a fun and useful case study for combining 3D scanning, 3D printing, and fit testing.
Another unexpected crossover came from the purge towers produced during Snapmaker U1 multicolor prints. Instead of recycling them, I reused them as DIY marker blocks for 3D scanning. The angled shapes worked surprisingly well for marker tracking with the POP 4, turning normal multicolor print waste into a useful scanning accessory.
