I am interested in a multidimensional graphic space.
It all starts with a line of ink on paper, a simple or tormented expression of the line, a linear approach to the first dimension.
Over time, the combination of lines occupies an ever-growing space : two dimensions, mysteriously organized around tetraglyphs and their illuminations, are enhanced with a secret message.
Finally, I complement with additional work, an exploration of space, of the third dimension : the tetraglyphs become graffiti and cover the walls of an imaginary universe.
The drawing becomes a landscape, engraved glass cubes or wood blocks.
This progressive exploration of the three dimensions, this transition from ink to paper, from the imagination to the object, is my art project, PetitGrandMonde…
