I have been rebuilding automatic transmissions for 40 years owned my own shop for the last 15 ,had a heart attack and a divorce at the same time and couldn’t hold the shop together. was a self taught machinist in the middle of all that . had a lathe at the shop , made a lot of my own specialty tools for transmissions. always had lots of ideas for making things. always wanted a 3D printer , the snapmaker 2.0 A350 looked like a great fit for me. so i bought it , Fusion 360 , and a workstation laptop , now i’m deep into the learning curve. I’m a newbe with a lot of history of learning what i need to know to do what i need to get done. so expect lots of dumb questions from me but know that I’m listening and know that experience is the best teacher. never met anyone no matter what age that i didn’t walk away from without learning something that i could use.
