# X axis didn’t move in 3d printing

Hi everyone,

I have a problem on my snapmaker A250. When I 3D print, the X axis didn’t move. He work on the first layers, and when I did the home.  
I tried to upload the firmware, I do the calibration, and nothing works.  
Anyone have a solution ?

Sounds to me like either you’ve got a loose cable, or there’s something wrong with your controller (the linear module is also a possible culprit, but it doesn’t seem all that likely in this case).

First, try unplugging the X-axis cable at both ends, then plugging it back in.

If that doesn’t help, you can try swapping cables and linear modules between the X and Y axes to see if you can isolate the problem to one cable, module, or controller port. Most likely, you’ll need to contact [support@snapmaker.com](mailto:support@snapmaker.com) for additional diagnostic steps or replacement parts.
