Hello (Yá’át’ééh),
I had uninstalled the Orca software because i was having some issues with the new printer. so i went ahead and installed this new v.2.3.4 but the Snapmaker U1 is not listed at all, and not one single snaperbrand is listed. what is going on?
now i can’t use my printer?
any advice is appreciated. thanks
I assume you selected from this option? …and you find no other printers? If so, uninstall that and put 2.3.1 back on and find your printer and then choose look for new version and then install that allowing it to delete the prior version. Maybe this’ll fix it???
that worked! but now i don’t see listed under filaments most pupular brands like sunlu and more polymaker filaments. and oh by the way, the reason i uninstalled everything was because this message that keeps popping up. (see pic attached). i get it even though trying to send the object for calibration to the printer, no matter what i get this message, is it normal on these types of printers?
You’ll probably have to manually select all/any of the options from the Icon in the filament row my pic is pointing to and add whatever you want.
oh yeah, i did, bunch of times. tech support finally sent me a solution which i have not tried yet. i will post here what they said.

In the slicer that I had on my machine the indicator that you show with the red arrow is empty, when you go from there to the setup wiz there is no Snapmaker information to pick from. I did find a useable version of 2.3.1 on Git Hub and it has me back to where I can use my printer, however this is not the fix that the software on the net needs and I hope it is corrected soon. Thank you for the help always appreciated.
It’s a pita but if you try to do the upgrade from there then maybe the setup won’t change, but maybe tell it NOT to delete prior content when prompted. 2.3.1 was good though, so maybe just wait until the next upgrade instead.
