# Why is created the own fork of OrcaSlicer?

The [beta announcement](https://forum.snapmaker.com/t/orcaslicer-nightly-builds-for-snapmaker-community-dev-version/36846) has a few reasons.

My guess here is the WiFi printing is probably not something the Orca maintainers want to merge or maintain.
