I see some of you also want to fix many problems about the factory SPOOL HOLDER with one solution: spool diameter, air-tight, friction, durability, cheap, modular, etc).

Hi, I’d like to ask if you’ve tested it with RFID-enabled filament yet, and what the results were. Does the metal overload the NFC electronics?

Hi, thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the late reply.

I get your concern about keeping this forum from turning into a marketplace.

In this case, the OP is just sharing his custom spool holder design. The link is only a file host for the model. He’s not actively selling anything or pushing sales here.

I’ll keep a closer eye on posts like this going forward and make sure to tell genuine design sharing apart from commercial plugging. If I see excessive marketing or sales spam, I’ll step in.
