I really struggle to get clean prints with my snapmaker 2.0 (PLA Filament). The outer walls (and support structure) always get holes in them, regardless of how slow I am printing.

Is this a problem with under-extrusion?

Things I tried thus far (with no success):

- Cleaned the feeder
- Replaced the hot end
- Increased print temp to 210 degrees celsius
- Increased flow rate to 105 %

Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Hi @luckyluc ,

did you calibrated your extruder?

So I’m starting this topic as an easier alternative to refer people to. Please continue to use the original topic for any discussion or questions so that we can keep this thread lean & mean. Here are the steps for calibrating the extruder on a Snapmaker A150, A250, or A350: On the touchscreen, swipe left and tap …

I see a small amount of over-extrusion on the brim. The under-extrusion areas seem position dependent. Is your filament binding at all? Mine was fine when the spool was full, but started binding when it was about half way finished. A spool holder that repositioned and reorientated the spool fixed the binding.
