# Nozzle not heating up

i have printed a few things successfully. after my 4th print the printer fritzed and fragmented the printing session, strings all over. then the nozzle would no longer heat. i tried replacing the nozzle, resetting the entire system, and now i have an error message stating the nozzle cannot heat 0x40000. i can’t even get to the main screen, it is stuck on load filament nozzle temp. help!

If you take the hotend off, look at the plug. there should be 4 pins on each connector, you might find one has pushed out of the housing

this has occured to a small number of members.

let us know what you find.

one of the pins was way out of sync. fixed it and it fixed the problem. thanks!
