Has anyone tried Non-Planar printing on the Snapmaker 1 or 2. Would it present any problems. It can be done on other machine forms, that has been demonstrated. See you tube.
You would need to replace the nozzle with one that extends father past the cooling fan, I’ll say no, it can’t without modification.
An additional problem with non-planer printing is the patent has now been acquired by Autodesk so it’s pretty much dead development wise. Any open source slicers implementing that feature are liable to take down notices.

I tried this with the original.- Assembled a longer nozzle.
At the end i could say, it was not worth it. (Tinkering around with virtual Software and a old version of Slic3r)
This feature is for huge thin builds like in the yt video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmePlcU0TRw
