Hi guys
Im new to the snapmaker U1 but not to 3d printers. I use orcaslicer so it can connect to my many machines. I have flipped the timelapse video toggle to on and checked that at the beginning of the gcode orca adds the SET_TIME_LAPSE_CAMERA ENABLE=1 and before layer change theres TIMELAPSE_TAKE_FRAME
if i manually start the job at the printer screen i can select time lapse and it will save correctly but i cant get it to do timelapse if i start from the slicer. I have several printers and i just start all jobs from the computer after they’ve been cleaned. Any way to do time lapse with built in camera from the computer?
I also had this problem and submitted a ticket. Long story short, the problem now seems to be resolved by upgrading to the new 1.6.0 firmware. I installed it as soon as it came out and for the past few days, I have had 100% success making time-lapses.
Clicking the toggle in orca now works.
how do i install 1.6.0? im on 1.5.2 and when i click on it it says i have the latest version
1.6.0 hasn’t been released yet – it is for beta testing, others will have to wait. I guess the release version will be 1.6.1.
The Paxx firmware might have already solved the timelapse issue, I’m not sure.

Save it to a usb drive and sneaker net it to the machine and do a “local update” from the touch screen.
