Issue cable heated bed snapmaker original

Cable issue straight from the start. When I connected the cable for the second time to the heated bed after some playing around with the laser I noticed that there was no more temperature information on the display. The bed was heating but I couldn’t do any printing.

Then I realized that I reversed the cable. After reversing the cable again everthing worked.

Is there an issue with the cable? Do I have to replace it. Did I miss something in the manual?

The direction of the cable shouldn’t matter. The v1’s cables appear to be a standard RJ45 patch cable (ie, the wires go to the same pins on both ends). Although I can’t really explain why reversing the cable direction solved your problem.

Check that you are using the right cable, not all of them are created equal and that can lead to problems.
