Inconsistent Layerlines

Thanks for this great idea! I also contacted Snapmaker about it. Basically the motor should be able to find online.

What I may also be able- there is an acrylic sheet between the motor and the metal mounting bracket for isolating.
If I quickly recreate it and laser from a thicker material then I might be able to solve the problem quicker

Or maybe somehow sharpen the teeth again with a file or something

As the teeth have lost material (you can see the dent very well in your photo), I suppose that’s a futile effort…

I wanted to recalibrate the E Steps and used M83 → G1 F200 E180 instead of F100
I measured 180mm, extruded 200mm and now was left with over 51mm of filament.

Therefore my new value shot up to 314

I wanted to give feedback!
My Layerlines really came from Extruder Gear slip.
As suggested I put 3xM3 washers between the acrylic piece and the heatblock.
This solved my issue almost completely. I‘m now fine running an E Step value of 250 with no problem. No under or overextrusion- I’m happy to have some good quality print back.

No I will adjust the K Factor & Vibration compensation for pushing the 120mm/s speed limit

Thanks @hauke for bringing me to look closer!

That’s probably the best boat print I’ve ever seen.
