# How to Export / Import Material library in LUBAN?

Hello  
I change my windows version and my computer, so I want to export my material library from my old computer in order to import it in my new computer… Simple in theory…

And I would like to do that globally, not one item at a time… Is it possible ?  
Where the material library is stored on the disk ? May be it’s possible to copy/paste a specific folder ?

I posted some info about how [print quality profiles are stored on disk](https://forum.snapmaker.com/t/proper-backup-how-backup-function-where-does-it-go/26203/2). I only print PLA, so I don’t have much to experiment with for material libraries. I imagine they will be near the profiles on disk, and copying the files should work the same way.

Hi  
I have found a manual solution to copy / edit the Luban material library

Go under the folder C:\Users\YourName, you will find an hidden system folder “AppData”. Open it and then follow this path :  
…\Roaming\snapmaker-luban\config\laser\a350\_1600mw

You will find multiple json files, one by material definition  
(and other subfolder, depending on your SM machine)

So it’s easy to create a zip file of the global config folder and copy it to your new machine.  
The complete library will be transfered !
