Something I was afraid of when I first had a closer look on the printhead seems now have happened to another Snapmaker user - the cam wheel of the feeder wears off and the teeth get inefficient. This I had with my previous printer, and there it was an hour of work, dismanteling the feeder, exchanging the cam wheel for less than 5€, and putting everything back together. With SM2, I wonder how to replace it - to me it looks to be the axle of the feeder stepper itself, which IMHO would mean that you have to replace the whole stepper… I hope I’m wrong! If it is like I assume, it’s a serious design flaw, since abrasive filament will definitely wear down the feeder teeth over time…

I think you may buy a bit of time by getting longer screws and some spacers and remount the feeder stepper a few mm offset, so that another part of the cam wheel is in the filament path, but at some point you’ll be out of axle…
