# Enable laser crosshairs from controller touchscreen

Luban has a handy button to switch the crosshairs from the 40W laser module on/off. I use this to align my workpiece. However, my PC is far away from the Artisan so it would be handy to do this from the Artisan controller’s touchscreen. However, I can’t find a button there for this function.

I know that one of the last steps in the laser starting wizard switches on the crosshairs, but at this point the laser module is a few mm above the workpiece and I can’t really see where the crosshairs are that way. I want to have the crosshairs at a moment of my choice when the laser module is still further away from the workpiece.

So, is there any button on the touchscreen that I haven’t found yet that simply switches the crosshairs on/off?

It seems an obvious feature to need. Strange that it’s not already available on the screen. Probably best to contact them directly.
