# Cura machine type question

What machine type do you all select when using Cura to print?

I created a custom printer, using [https://manual.snapmaker.com/3d\_printing/faq/snapmaker-profile-for-cura-and-simplify3d.html](https://manual.snapmaker.com/3d_printing/faq/snapmaker-profile-for-cura-and-simplify3d.html).

Although it seems that article is a bit out of date. I posted some updated screenshots in [Generic Cura profile](http://forum.snapmaker.com/t/generic-cura-profile/3236)
