I am new to the Snapmaker and I am trying to figure out how to convert a 2D picture in to a 3D image in order for me to carve it on to my medium. To start with I just purchased my machine so it currently has not arrived just yet. I am trying to understand the program so that when I receive it I can get started right away.
Have you read through this?
You may be interested in this part:
Relief : You need to upload greyscale images, and the layering effect is based on the different shades of color on your original images. You can use Carving V-Bit in Relief mode.
Or other parts depending on what you’re attempting to carve.

Not sure what you’re looking for exactly. I assume you mean from a photo or picture to 3d.
