Hi, so I am working with The Snapmaker 2.0 A350 machine. I have the android touchscreen device connected and the latest firmware (V1.10.1_20200822) is installed on the device as well. I have trying to establish a wireless connection between my computer and the machine via a WiFi connection, and it worked. The problem that I am having is I want to connect the device with a WPA Enterprise protected WiFi. A characteristic of it is whenever you want to make a connection, you need to provide both username and password (It is my university WiFi btw). However, on the touchscreen device itself, you can only input the WiFi password (I assume because the machine might only consider WPA Personal protected WiFi).
Honestly, I think your best bet is to use a bridge device, I don’t think that’ll work.
I am currently exploring different ways of connecting my computer which runs Snapmaker Luban with the Snapmaker 2.0 device, mostly for file transfers. Connecting both devices to a personal mobile hotspot (which is protected under the WPA Personal scheme) works smoothly, but not with my university WiFi. Will definitely try using a bridge device, thanks for the suggestion!
I looked quite a bit into this (My network at home uses WPA Enterprise so I needed this in order to connect) and came to the conclusion that it isn’t possible with the current firmware. I finally ended up creating a separate network for the Snapmaker.
