Made ornaments as gifts for my colleagues at work. Used the 1600mW laser module at 55-60% power, 500 work speed. The designs were etched within areas of 40mmx40mm to 50mmx50mm to fit the wood slices. Most were done in greyscale. Panda and skateboard were done in BW. I find that I can get more details when etching the designs in greyscale.
