Sorry if the ASA and PLA topic is getting old from me… 😂 However, it is lookin like the cause of my first three failures for combining ASA and PLA was fully due to the Bambu Lab ASA I was trying to incorporate 😡

The Benchbin - Multi Color 3D Printing Torture Test: [The Benchbin - Multi Color 3D Printing Torture Test by Prusa Research | Download free STL model | Printables.com](https://www.printables.com/model/937776-the-benchbin-multi-color-3d-printing-torture-test)

- ASA - West3D Ambrosia (Glitter/Sparkle)
  - Why did it take so long for someone to bring such beautiy to ASA?!?
  - Actually, at this point I don’t care because this is absolutely a beautiful multi-color ASA with sparkles 🤯

- PLA - Polymaker Polylite White
  - Always a solid Brand choice

- PLA - Protopasta Copper Filled
- PLA - Protopasta Iron Filled
  - LOVE how well the two Metal Collection filaments I’ve used from Protopasta print and how awesome the outcome is

I’ve had to do some Slicer “magic,” please correct me if you find my methodology “scary!”

- ASA - Generic ASA profile straight from Snapmaker Orca

- PLA - Labeled as ‘Floating,’ also no brand Calibration tests yet

- Snapmaker Orca

I think that’s it… We’re at 29% in, 168 out of 573 layers, and time remaining 7h 14m out of 10h 15m and I feel like a Rock Star 🤘 🤘

Long post, please let me know if this is not the proper way to do this, with lots of pictures 😂 We’ll start with the good and end with what had issues.

Filament choice refresher:

- ASA - West3D Ambrosia (Glitter/Sparkle)
  - Bin + Lid
  - I can’t believe this West3D ASA… Mind is completely blown 🤯 Multi-color and Glitter/Sparkle, YES PLEASE!!!

- PLA - Polymaker Polylite White
  - Recycle Logo + Lid overhang
  - Wasn’t quite as dry as I had thought 😢

- PLA - Protopasta Copper Filled
  - Alternating with Iron: Side accents + Rims / Wheels

- PLA - Protopasta Iron Filled
  - Alternating with Copper: Side accents + Rims / Wheels

- Protopasta Metal Filled are amazing filaments and make for a weighty Prime Tower 😂

Vision Miner:

- Nano Polymer Adhesive
  - I can’t see printing ASA without Nano!

Benchbin:

- Lid works perfectly
- Casters snapped in nice and tight and move as expected
- Wheels move but some post-processing would help them move freely!

Photos don’t do the UV reactive element quite like real life, but I’m so happy that it does react!

Issues, you may have already noticed some:

- Minimal warping on the bottom of the bin’s ASA
  - I don’t find this to be an actual issue for what I pushed the U1 to do!

- ASA split on corners halfway up; luckily in small sections
  - This was part of my fear of leaving PLA Fan Speed settings at default and I’m shocked it wasn’t worse

- Polylite
  - Should have been dried, which I thought it was, and I believe it would have come out nicer

- Protopasta
  - Really thought this would be a major failure, as there was a lot of “dripping” on the hinge pieces

- All “issues,” minus the ASA splitting, cleaned up well!
