# Artisan 20w laser module compatibility

Hi Everyone!  
I was wondering what the difference is between the Artisan 20w laser module and the 2.0 20w laser module (if any) and whether I could use the Artisan variant on my Snapmaker 2.0. It’d be great if anybody has any insights into this!

With Artisan a own quickswap kit is delivered and I guess it’s not compatible to the 2.0 quick swap.

The 2.0 need the power extension cable connected to the toolhead-port and the add on-port (like the 200W CNC).

So, buy a extension cable and a quickswap plate for 2.0 and you should be able to disassemble the Artisan quickswap plate to mount the 2.0s.
