Using the CNC origin assist prior to loading a design works well. However, once a design is loaded the process changes to just a point vice X1, X2, …, and doesn’t seem to want to use the same origin (it tries to go to the center of the front face where the live center point is vice the top front edge of the piece). it would be nice if it was consistent, especially for larger pieces where the piece is larger than the shank length so the tool pushes down on the piece knocking it out of the chuck jaws. It’s like it’s trying to merge 3D origin points with 4D and not doing a good job of it.
