# 10x laser stuck on Toolhead Focus Calibration screen

Thanks for the suggestion. I did try resetting the screen as well as the system. I got regular print head setup and then switched to the laser head. Unfortunately the same problem where hitting start on the toolhead focus calibration screen does not make it proceed.

I forgot about this so only for clarification, if you reset the machine settings with M502 you have to save with M500 afterwards.

Thanks for the clarification. I did use those commands manually, as well as using the macro with those commands, but no luck to fix the issue.

Are you currently using the “split” toolhead cable provided with the new CNC? If so, check the connections to the ports on the controller as they MUST be plugged into the connections as specifically labeled (Toolhead, Add-on 1).

Did you got a solution for this problem? We just bought a 10W laser toolhead and were stuck on the same issue (firmware is up-to-date!)
